Love Stories
THE BEGINNING
We are a love story born from VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL (VBS). We first met in 2021 during the Online VBS Praise and Worship program, but it was not until 2023, at an VBS training event, that we truly got to know each other. Our communication continued throughout the year, and by the end of 2023, we decided to take a step beyond friendship and begin a relationship.
THE YES
After being together for nearly two years, in October 2025, we finally decided to bring our families together in a simple engagement celebration. And she said, “Yes!”
THE WAIT IS OVER
Through many circumstances and challenges that were not always easy to walk through—especially after Romy lost his father in early 2026, someone who shared a close and meaningful relationship with both Romy and Merlin—we finally decided to build a life together through a Holy Matrimony, which will be held on October 3, 2026, in Bandung, West Java.
And now, the wait is over. Our forever begins. 🤍
