Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh. This mystery is profound, and I am saying that it refers to Christ and the church.

Every love story has its own beginning, and this is ours. Lovel has always enjoyed trying new things. One day, that curiosity led her to join a woodworking workshop in Surabaya, where the session was recorded and later uploaded to YouTube with her permission. Around the same time, Robert had just returned from Jakarta to start his own interior business in Tulungagung. While searching for woodworking tutorials, he came across that very video, found Lovel's Instagram, and sent her a simple direct message to ask about woodworking and interior design. What began as an ordinary conversation slowly grew into friendship, and eventually into love.
Our journey wasn't without challenges—we even spent a few months apart. Yet in God's perfect timing, He brought us back together and allowed us to know each other more deeply. Before becoming partners in life, we first became partners in business. Through projects, long conversations, and seasons of uncertainty, we learned to embrace our differences, extend grace, and continually choose one another. More than shared interests, we discovered that what truly united us was our shared faith and our desire to build a life centered on Christ.
Looking back, we can see God's faithful hand in every ordinary moment—a woodworking workshop, a YouTube video, and a simple direct message. What once seemed like small coincidences became part of His greater plan. As we begin this new chapter, we do so with grateful hearts, trusting the Lord who has faithfully led us from the very beginning, and praying that our marriage will always reflect His love and bring glory to Him.
