Together in Faith and Love
After several months of reading the Bible and praying together, On 23rd April 2023 Matthew asked me to be his girlfriend, and we continue to seek God’s will for our future.
The Engagement Journey
In September 2023, Matthew travelled to Indonesia to meet my family and share cherished moments with them. By December, Matthew invited me to the UK to meet his extended
family in London, Manchester, and Belfast.
On January 1, 2024, while we were still in the UK with his family, he planned a special dinner date. What began as an ordinary evening soon transformed into a magical moment that
would change our lives forever. As we finished our meal, Matthew took my hand and shared that he had received his parents' blessing and also my family's blessing to ask to marry
me. My heart raced with anticipation, sensing something truly special was about to happen.
With a warm smile, he reached behind him and produced a small box. As he opened it and asked, "On that lovely note, will you marry me?" my heart swelled with joy, and I eagerly
said "Yes"—a moment I will treasure for a lifetime.
Celebrating Our Forever
As we prepare for our wedding, we have found the challenges of time zones and distance to be quite daunting. However, through it all, as we surrender everything to Him, God has
strengthened our love and guided us every step of the way. We give all praise and glory to Him and continue to pray that He is honoured in and through our relationship.
We also wish to express our heartfelt thanks to our extended family and friends who have been praying for us and showering us with love
