They met at Universtias Klabat in August 2018, and at that time they were just acquaintances. Long story short, one day he posted on his IG story saying, “Hi kids, this is your dad, I hope your future mother would be someone from Sentani.” and she replied to that, “Ampun, Kapen.” It all just stopped there, nothing more.
On his birthday, February 17, 2024, she greeted him a happy birthday, and from then on their conversation has grown. Together they thought it through, and on February, 22, 2024, they both decided to proceed the friendship to “close friends." Although it was a long LDR journey (Inyesta, Bintuni - Hobutonggo, Yahukimo) they believed that God was there all along hearing their prayers.
They got engaged
As time passed by, their services in their respective places made the bond stronger. It didn’t only strengthen their relationship with God, but also strengthened the relationship between their families and loved ones. By God’s grace, along with the support and prayers from their parents and family, they gratefully got engaged in Sentani on November 10, 2024.
They're getting married
Getting to know each other a lot more, sharing faith, loves, prayers, and above all, trying to be the best version to lift each other up, they will be tying the knot in a time that is not too soon, not too long, but in God’s perfect timing. On December 19, 2024, they will build a household of faith as they have committed to God and man to be united in a marriage.
