“And one of His signs is that He created for you spouses from among yourselves so that you may find tranquility in them. And He has placed between you affection and mercy. Surely in this are signs for people who reflect.”
QS. Ar-Rum:21
Not every love story begins with a spark. Ours began with something much quieter : a sense of familiarity. Long before we knew what love meant, our paths had already crossed. We grew beneath the same sky, living through the same seasons of life without realizing that life was gently weaving our stories together. As time passed, life led us in different directions. We chased our own dreams, faced our own uncertainties, and learned our own lessons. There were moments of joy, moments of waiting, and moments that shaped us into the people we are today. Looking back, every step—even the ones taken apart—was quietly preparing our hearts for the day we would meet again.
When life brought us back to one another, it felt effortless. The familiarity we had once known had transformed into comfort, trust, and a love that felt both peaceful and certain. There was no need to rush, no need to question. We simply knew that this time, we had found the person we wanted to walk beside for the rest of our lives. Love, we discovered, is not always found in grand gestures or perfect moments. Sometimes, it grows patiently through time, through distance, and through becoming the people we were always meant to be. It is choosing each other every day, finding home in one another, and believing that the best chapters are still waiting to be written.
Today, with grateful hearts, unwavering faith, and endless love, we choose one another—not only for this moment, but for every ordinary and extraordinary day that lies ahead. And as we begin this new chapter hand in hand, our greatest adventure is no longer about finding one another. It is about growing together, choosing each other, and writing the rest of our story as one.
