Love Story
It all began quietly, without us even realizing what it would become. In 2014, Chandra and Mony were simply classmates, sharing ordinary days, simple conversations, and little moments that seemed insignificant at the time. After graduating in June 2016, something slowly began to change. There was never a confession, never a defining moment—only two hearts that naturally, quietly, and effortlessly found their way to each other. And so began our journey of love, growing from friendship into something neither of us knew we were looking for.
Our ten years together have never been about having an easy journey. During our college years, we found ourselves in different cities—Chandra in Semarang and Mony in Salatiga, meeting only a few times each month. In April 2021, Mony started working in Kudus, and four months later, Chandra followed, joining the same company—only to be separated again three months later when Chandra was assigned to Tangerang for another three years. Through tears and joy, arguments and forgiveness, laughter and uncertainty, countless goodbyes and even more hellos, we learned what it truly means to choose someone. No matter how many kilometers stood between us, we always found ourselves choosing each other, and somehow, finding the same way home.
In October 2024, we finally found our way back to the same place. Then, in July 2025, amidst the beautiful calm of Karimunjawa, came the proposal that would change our forever. We got engaged in December 2025, marking the beginning of a new chapter after ten years of growing, loving, fighting, forgiving, waiting, and finding our way back to each other. Because perhaps love was never about finding a perfect journey—it was about always choosing the same road, until we realized that no matter how far we wandered, our way home would always lead us back to each other.
